These photos were taken at the Paddlesworth system in Kent in 1967. Four Ruston locos were found stabled at the transfer shed.
Closer view of Ruston APCM No5. The rolling stock comprised of simple 4 wheel flat wagons,
on which two buckets, from the overhead bucketway were placed.
Another view of the site, which captures the industrial atmosphere of the area perfectly.
This picture shows the back of the transfer shed, where the buckets were
loaded onto the bucketway for transport to Holborough Cement works. A total of seven
Ruston and Hornsby locos worked here.
