Some great photos from Gaby Bachet from a carbon factory. Le Chatillonnais is to the north of Dijon, and although there are no locomotives on the site, the internal system is quite extensive.

This view across the top of the storage yard gives a feel for the number of wagons in use. There are estimated to be 120 of these cage wagons on site.

The only motive power in evidence was hand tramming to the tipplers.

To manouvre the wagons onto the turntables seems to take a team of 2-3 people.
