There are several locations across Hungary that still use narrow gauge. The types of industry include timber yards, mines, collieries, and brickworks. A couple of the former forestry railways still transport timber, including those railways at Csömödér and Lenti, and occasional trains at Gemenc and Mesztegnyo.
