There appears to be several locations across Hungary that still use narrow gauge. The types of industry include timber yards, mines, collieries, fish farms and brickworks. Some of the state owned railways also still transport timber, including those railways at Csömödér and Lenti, and occasional trains at Gemenc and Mesztegnyo.
